Applications are being sought for a suitably qualified Occupational Therapist to join our vibrant and progressive Allied Health team, to cover a period of maternity leave.

Ballan District Health & Care is located between Melbourne and Ballarat, and just minutes from the Ballan train station (19 minutes from Ballarat station, 53 minutes from Southern Cross Station). We are an integrated healthcare facility comprising a private hospital with public acute beds, GP Clinic, post-acute, rehab facilities, and residential aged care.

To be considered for this position, you will need to have a:

1. Bachelor of Applied Science (Occupational Therapy)
2. Experience in community health settings
3. Demonstrated effective written and verbal communication skills
4. Current Drivers Licence
5. Experience with working as part of a multidisciplinary health team
6. Demonstrated problem solving skills
7. Current registration with AHPRA

Desirable:
8. Experience working with elderly clients
