QUALITY and RISK COORDINATOR – Part Time (0.8 FTE)

We are seeking applications from suitably experienced people to fill our Quality and Risk Coordinator position.

This position is part time – 0.8 full time equivalent.

To be successful in this position you will need to have significant clinical and quality management experience, as well experience in internal auditing, and a comprehensive knowledge of the health and aged care standards and accreditation requirements.

Registered Nurse

Applications are sought for suitably experienced Registered Nurses.

We are an integrated Private Hospital with public Acute beds, G.P. Super Clinic, Post Acute, Rehab facilities, Aged Care, Child Care and plans are underway for further significant expansion.

At BDHC we collaborate with the Ballan community and our team of professional staff to deliver the very best Person Centred Care.

We are looking for Registered Nurses (casual, part-time or full-time) to join BDHC and to continue to improve our services to the Ballan community. In this role you may be required to be responsible for after-hours supervision of clinical and non-clinical areas when working evenings, weekends and night duty with support and guidance from our experienced team of RN’s and clinical co-ordinators.

Education and Training

Ballan District Health & Care is committed to continuous education and training for staff members. BDHC provides mandatory education via the online Regional Health Service eLearning Network platform and hosts visiting lecturers on specialist topics including continence, palliative care and dementia support. Our senior nurses are also provided with advanced life support training.

Or organisation also has a learning and development program for work experience and internships. We have three dedicated training rooms in our Centre for Community Health, which are used for training medical students, registrars, psychology and nursing students. We work with a number of training organisations, such as the University of Melbourne and Federation University and with local schools.
