NDIS services in Ballan
Ballan District Health & Care began providing NDIS-approved services in September of 2017 to further support Moorabool residents with disabilities. We offer a comprehensive range of in-home and on-site services with a particular commitment to working with disabled community members, carers and families living in the Western half of Moorabool Shire.
All forty-four National Standards met
The Aged Care team at Ballan District Health & Care are all smiles after receiving renewal of their aged care accreditation with flying colours – meeting all 44 National Standards set by the Australian Government.
New education tools
Our Clinical Nurse Educator, Sue Chapple, with our new and improved CPR manikins. Impressive education tools for nursing students and staff, the manikins have real-time pressure indicators to assist with learning.
Kitchen refurbishment finished
The community, philanthropy and the state government have come together to serve up a total kitchen refurbishment – new equipment and a space re-design to continue Ballan District Health & Care’s ability to serve freshly cooked food for patients and residents.
