Shahida Bano is the Quality and Risk Coordinator here at Ballan District Health & Care – working closely with the community and accreditation/audit agencies (such as The Australian Council on Healthcare Standards ACHS) to ensure we are continually improving the care provided here in Ballan.
Shahida has worked in similar quality improvement roles since 2004 – with a specific interest in program monitoring and evaluation in the hospital and clinical settings. She holds a Masters of Public Health (Melbourne University) as well as a Masters of Business Administration-Major in Health Management (Pakistan).
When not working on risk mitigation and quality improvement at BDHC, Shahida enjoys using her creative flare to design her own dresses. Shahida also has an ambition to complete a PhD studying different health systems around the world.
