The BDHC Board has appointed Shawn Lee, Director of Allied and Community Health, as Interim CEO of Ballan District Health & Care.

Shawn has capably led the Allied and Community Health team and demonstrated community engagement, commitment and professional care in that role.

Over the last few weeks the Board has received very positive feedback from the staff and community as Shawn stepped up into the senior role.

The BDHC Board believes that maintaining leadership stability while an organisational review is taking place is in the best interests of BDHC – including the staff, residents, clients and greater community.

The Board thanks Shawn for this significant contribution. We have every confidence in Shawn’s ability to perform the role until we complete an organisational review and then look to recruit a permanent CEO.
